Bob Heidenrich
President US Operations
Bob brings 35+ years of experience in the membrane switch industry, working closely with customers to understand their product, market, and end-user needs. He specializes in guiding design and material selection for high-performing human-machine interface (HMI) solutions. With a strong background in technical sales within the printed electronics market, Bob has also spent significant time in China collaborating directly with Youngji’s manufacturing team and supporting U.S.-based customers across their global operations. Over the past eight years, Bob has helped drive significant growth, building partnerships with OEMs and contract manufacturers for low, medium, and high applications across a wide range of industries. “My mission remains the same: to work closely with customers and leverage Youngji’s design and manufacturing expertise to deliver high-quality, cost-effective HMI solutions that stand apart in today’s market.”
Erin Heidenrich
Inside Sales and Marketing Manager
Erin is the Inside Sales and Marketing Manager at Youngji USA, having joined the team in December 2025. She supports a wide range of functions, including purchase orders, quoting, shipping documentation, sales representative coordination, and marketing initiatives. Erin plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting both internal teams and external partners. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge of the HMI industry and is passionate about building and strengthening relationships with customers across the U.S.
Richard Kim
Owner, CEO
Richard has been a leader in the membrane switch industry since its early days in the 1980s. His original factory was established in Korea in 1982, and Richard saw the world moving to a low-cost country approach, and he established a factory in Zhongshan City, China, in 2000. Today, Richard leads a team of over 500 employees, supporting customers across Asia as well as in the U.S. and Europe through both direct relationships and long-standing partnerships. Over the past eight years, Youngji has successfully expanded its presence in the U.S. market through a factory-direct model, building strong relationships with OEMs and partners. As Richard shares, “We saw an opportunity to evolve our approach to the U.S. market by establishing a local presence. With more than 20 years of experience supporting U.S. OEMs, we’re proud to have brought back the Youngji name directly to customers and continue delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.”

Our design and R&D engineering teams reside in our main factory in China with most production coming from our 2 China locations. Parts are then transported to our Hong Kong business office for air or sea transport to US customers. We also have some final assembly work coming from our Korea location.
